So what is it that you do?

I am focusing on 3D environment art for video games, but I do have a broad range of art skills.

What other art skills do you have?

Graphic Design, Traditional Art, Digital Art, Animation (2D,3D,stop-motion), 3D Modeling, Texturing, Rigging, Lighting, Python, ZBrush Sculpting, The Adobe Creative Suite, Video Editing, Data Visualization, Vector Art, Pixel Art... I feel like I've worn many hats in past projects I've worked on.

Why focus on 3D environment art?

A couple reasons. First, it is what I always find myself returning to. When I have free time or am sketching or doodling, more often than not I find myself creating an environment. Second, I feel like with 3D environment art I can best capture a story and give life to a world.

How long have you been working as an artist?

I started work as a professional artist as early as 2006. Much of my work was graphic design and animation. 
Although I started using 3D software back in 2005 for personal work, It wasn't until 2010 when I started to do 3D props/environments professionally. Then in 2013, I began 3D art specifically for video games.

What are your goals as an artist?

I want to create inspirational art. I want to connect with others emotionally through my projects.
